Brookside Community Church Leadership
Brookside Community Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Pastor Alex Hamilton
Senior Pastor
Pastor Alex was called to serve as Brookside Community Church's senior pastor in July 0f 2010. Prior to that, he served as Senior Pastor of Riverside Church in Riverside, CA. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1978, and Dallas Theological Seminary in 1982 with a degree in Theology.
The attributes that best describe Pastor Alex as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development and counseling. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like Brookside Community Church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Pastor Alex takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending the first hours of his day focused on Bible study.
Pastor Alex has been happily married to his lovely wife, Liz. They have 5 children and 2 grandchildren who live in various parts of the United States. Pastor Alex and Liz enjoy traveling on their vacations and visiting their family.
Pastor Aaron Burton

In January of 2012, Brookside Community Church called Pastor Aaron to serve as Associate Pastor. Prior to that, he served as Youth Pastor of Chicago Bible Chapel in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2004 after completing his undergrad degree at Trinity International University in 2000.
The three attributes that best describe Pastor Aaron are a heart for evangelizing young people, a commitment to missions, and a passion for the Savior. His weekly early morning Bible study at the local high school has been used of the Lord in the hearts of our teens. Pastor Aaron has shown his commitment to missions by leading a yearly mission trip for members to minister to our missionaries in Honduras.
Pastor Aaron married his college sweetheart, Sarah, in 2003. They will celebrate 15 years of marriage this July. They are thankful to the Lord for giving them three children: Charlotte, John and Natalie.
